The editor of the
Mozambican newspaper Diario de Noticias,
Paulo Machava, has been shot dead in the capital, Maputo, while he was out
jogging this morning, local media are reporting.
There
is a suspicion that this was a targeted attack and his life has been threatened
several times before, says the BBC's Mozambique analyst Zenaida Machado.
