Ghanaian doctors - now on
strike for more than a week - have now stopped providing emergency services.
But
the government says it has put plans in place to cope with urgent visits to
hospital.
It
says it has instructed hospital managers - who are also doctors - to deal with
emergencies and it is also contracting private doctors.
