Peter Ogaba, Youngest Player At The Canada 1987 FIFA U17 World Cup, Dies

Nigeria’s youngest player at the Canada 1987 FIFA U17 World Cup,  Peter Ogaba died on Friday, August 4, 2016, aged 42.

The defender who featured for the Golden Eaglets in the competition at the age of 13 passed on following brief illness. He was also Nigeria's youngest player at the Saudi Arabia 1989 FIFA U20 World Cup.
He was discovered at the National School Festival in 1986 featuring for Benue state and played for KSC Lokeren in Belgium and FC Oulu in Finland, Germany's Duisburg, Desportivo Club Beja in Portugal, Iceland's Leiftur, Boldklub Hostelbus of Denmark.
After drawing the curtain on his playing career in 2006, Ogaba took to coaching and served as head coach at Lobi Stars till 2009.
He worked at FC Lokoja in Kogi State and coached Abuja based side City Strikers FC as well own a football Academy in Abuja, Glory Sports.
