2015 AFCON QUALIFIERS: Togo Coach Admits Ghana Class

The African Cup Of Nations Trophy

Togo were outclassed by a better team as Ghana won 3-1, according to Tchakala Tchanile.

The Sparrow Hawks coach presided over a poor show in Ghana’s northern city of Tamale as the Black Stars booked a ticket to the next African Cup.

A goal from Floyd Ayite was not enough to stem the flurry of attacks that culminated in strikes from Abdul Majeed Waris, Mubarak Wakaso and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu.

“Ghana was one team, they played compact and all of them try to fight together,” Tchanile said after the game.

“You could see from the first half they wanted to win and I think all the eleven players on the field worked hard for the team to win.”

Togo therefore misses out on the next edition of the competition after making it to the 2013 edition but for Ghana it is yet another AFCON after making every edition in the past eight years.
