Amosun To Present 5000 C-Of-Os Under Homeowners’ Charter Scheme

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State is set to present another batch of Certificates of Occupancy under the state’s Homeowners’ Charter programme.

New Telegrapgh reports over 5,000 Certificates of Occupancy are ready for issuance and would be presented by Amosun on November 24 at the Arcade Ground, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The Special Adviser/Director-General, Bureau of Lands and Survey, Mr. Adewale Oshinowo, disclosed this in a statement made available to reporters in Abeokuta Sunday.
The Homeowners’ Charter, which was launched by the state government in December 2013, allows property owners to regularize the legal status and documentation of residential property built without approval on private land or built illegally on government owned lands.
