BREAKING: Fresh Explosion Rocks High School In Yobe; Many Feared Dead

Media reports say an early morning explosion has rocked Comprehensive Secondary School in Potiskum, Yobe state.

The explosive, believed to have been ferried into the school by a suicide bomber, went off just as students gathered for the morning assembly.

The identity of the suicide bomber is unknown but there are suggestions he might be one of the students of the school or an impersonator who mixed with students in the assembly ground.

Many students are feared dead and several other injured.

The spokesperson of the Yobe State Command of the Nigeria Police, Nansak Chegwam, confirmed the incident, but declined further comments, saying the military is in charge of operations at the scene of the incident.
More details later.
