A
suicide bomber attacked the Federal College of Education, Kontagora, Niger
state, on Wednesday, but only the bomber died.
According
to a student of the institution who spoke with TheCable, the bomb, which
exploded near the college library of the institution at about 12:45pm, was
detonated by a female.
According
to Ibrahim Gambari, public relations officer of the Niger state police command,
who spoke with TheCable, the female suicide bomber blew up herself before she
could get to her target.
“As of now three people sustained wounds, while
there is no casualty,” he said.
