A helicopter has crashed in Nigeria's commercial capital,
Lagos, killing three people and wounding three others, emergency officials as
saying. An
eyewitness said the incident occurred at about 3PM on Wednesday, August 12,
afternoon.
The chopper was coming
from the Ikeja axis of Lagos State when it made a loud noise before nose-diving
into the Oworonsoki end of the Lagos lagoon.
The police and officials
of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) have begun rescue operations
at the scene of the crash.
