BPL: Watford Boss Quique Flores Admits Odion Ighalo Could Leave In £20million Deal

Quique Flores hinted he could lose hitman Odion Ighalo. Watford managed to hold on to the Nigerian star during last month’s transfer window but Arsenal are among the clubs reported to be lining up a £20million offer this summer.

SunSport report continues:

Ighalo’s 15-goal haul has also alerted Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.

Boss Flores, whose Hornets host Bournemouth today, said: “Speculation about Ighalo is very normal. He is one of the best strikers in the league.

“It’s good — I love this speculation for all the players. When other teams want Watford players it means we are doing something right. It also improves the value of the players!

“I cannot talk about what will happen to Ighalo in the future but it will be positive.”
Watford, on 36 points, can almost ensure Premier League status with victory today against the side who pipped them to the Championship title last term.
