A
two-star American general has been killed and 14 others injured in an attack at
the British Military training academy in Afghanistan, according to Der Spiegel.
The German brigadier-general is reportedly “not in a life-threatening condition.”
The German military also confirmed that one NATO soldier was killed. The attack
happened at Camp Qargha, a base west of the capital, Kabul, which trains
officers for the country’s army.
