Osun electorate are in the process of deciding who would govern the state for

Though there was light rainfall in the early hours of Saturday, the turnout was impressive.

However, the image of the
Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) is also at stake as there are wide
speculations from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) camp that the
electoral body has connived with People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to rig the
election in favour of its flag bearer, Senator Iyiola Omisore against the incumbent Governor Rauf Aregbesola.
Meanwhile
the spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Lai Mohammed, was taken in by security agents in Osogbo, on the eve of the state’s
governorship election.
