The outgoing Acting
Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission, Ibim Semenitari handed
over to the in-coming Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba led NDDC Board today at the
Harold Dappa Biriye House headquarters of the Commission in Port Harcourt,
Rivers State.

The
inauguration of the new Board of the NDDC took place November 4 in Abuja at
the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.

NEWS reporter learned from sources within the presidency that the Minister of
Niger Delta Affairs, Usani Uguru Usani had presided over the Board inauguration.
The
development confirms the first time the NDDC Board is being brought under the
supervision of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.
Before
now, the NDDC Board had reported to the Secretary to the Government of the
Federation.
Semenitari, who has been the acting MD of the NDDC since December 21, 2015, had also attended the NDDC Board inauguration.
