The official
portraits of President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, and Vice President-elect, Yemi
Osinbajo, were on Sunday released to the public.
The release of the portraits came as the
inauguration ceremony, schedule for May 29, approaches, a statement by
Alexander Yangs of StateCraft, the communication firm that worked with the All
Progressives Congress during the campaigns, said.
“The photographs were taken by Bayo Omoboriowo, the
StateCraft Inc. photographer responsible for many of the iconic images from the
recently concluded election season that culminated in Buhari’s victory,” Mr.
Yang said.
Messrs
Buhari and Osinbajo won the March 28 presidential election on the platform of
the APC.
