Boko Haram is an obstacle to
the economic growth of countries in the sub-region, including Niger, Cameroon
and Chad engaged in the fight against the Nigerian terrorist group, according
to the Beninese President Yayi Boni, who met Tuesday in Paris with French
President Francois Hollande.
"Considerable
efforts have been made by countries such as Cameroon, Chad and Niger who had to
swallow significant amounts that were initially intended to finance their
people. But the phenomenon Boko Haram has become a challenge that resulted in
the loss of these resources for the prosperity of these countries ", said
President Boni to the press, at the end of a meeting with his French
counterpart.
The
Beninese president announced the holding of a summit of heads of state
(Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Cameroon and Benin) on 11 June in Abuja to define the
modalities of fight against Boko Haram.

Yayi Boni believes that one must "organize a sacred union to end this terrorist
movement because without security we cannot have peace."
"They
(Niger, Chad, Benin, Cameroon, Nigeria) took this momentum to achieve strong
economic growth that nourishes, dresses, cares for and finds employment for
youth. Unfortunately Boko Haram has upset this noble vision, "said Boni.

fight against Boko Haram, President Boni reassures that "the Beninese
troops are ready. And await the resolution of the Security Council examined the

Boni
is optimistic about the outcome of this struggle against the Nigerian
terrorists. As the new president of the Nigerian Republic Muhamadu Buhari he
met after his election "has made it his priority."
"Buhari made his first outing as president in neighboring countries engaged in this fight to thank them and try to pool our strengths, our resources and political will to end this abhorrent phenomenon," said Will -he said.

The
summit of Heads of State in Abuja on 11 June is proof of that determination
under Beninese president. "On June 11 we will find ourselves to make the
final adjustments. And we will know where the blockage is. There was some
hesitation in Nigeria but with the arrival of Buhari, I am confident that
things will be much clearer, "explained President Boni.
