"Boko Haram, An Obstacle To The Economic Growth Of African Countries," Boni Yayi, Beninese President

Boko Haram is an obstacle to the economic growth of countries in the sub-region, including Niger, Cameroon and Chad engaged in the fight against the Nigerian terrorist group, according to the Beninese President Yayi Boni, who met Tuesday in Paris with French President Francois Hollande.

"Considerable efforts have been made by countries such as Cameroon, Chad and Niger who had to swallow significant amounts that were initially intended to finance their people.
