A former Governor of
Bayelsa State, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, has died of hypertension.
Former
State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Ebitimi Agary, confirmed
this to our correspondent on Saturday.
TheCable
reports that Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, former governor of Bayelsa state, is
dead.
Esueme
Dan-Kikili, the state commissioner for information, confirmed this to Channels
Television, saying he died of cardiac arrest at the University of Port Harcourt
Teaching Hospital, on Saturday.
Alamieyeseigha was
reportedly rushed to the hospital two days ago after slipping into coma.
