Wole Soyinka on Thursday visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock

had a closed-door meeting inside the president's office. This is the first time
Soyinka will be visiting President Buhari since the latter assumed office on
May 29, 2015.
Addressing State House correspondents after the meeting, Soyinka said he visited Buhari to discuss national "and international matters, general matters, that's all."

Asked
what exactly he discussed with the president, the Nobel Laureate challenged the
journalists to reserve their questions to a press conference he said he would
be holding in about a week's time.
It would be recalled that Soyinka last year called on President Buhari to convene a national economic conference.
