The South Africa media was not allowed
in court on Thursday for the testimony of a second witness in the bail hearing
of a Danish man, Peter Frederiksen, accused of collecting women's clitorises. Prosecutor
Amanda Bester requested that the hearing be held in camera in the Bloemfontein
Magistrate's Court and the defence had no objection. The magistrate ordered the
media and public out of the gallery.
News24
was told that witnesses received threats before testifying, but this could not
immediately be verified.
The
public gallery was packed again with members of the ANC Women's League on
Thursday.
Frederiksen,
63, appeared amidst a heavy police presence.
He
has been charged with sexual assault, as well as crimes under sections of
Medicines Act, after 21 clitorises were found in his freezer.
The
State is also expected to add new charges, which include manufacturing of child
pornography, distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography
and two counts of conspiracy to murder and bigamy.
Frederiksen,
whose case has made international headlines, allegedly sliced off the sexual
organs and kept them in the freezer as trophies.
Last
month, his wife, Anna Matseliso Molise, 28, who assisted the police with
information about him, was shot dead in her home country of Lesotho, in what
the Hawks described as a hit.
Molisi
reportedly refused to be placed in a witness protection programme.
The hearing continues.

TRULY BIZZARE!!! Danish Man Sliced Off
Women’s Sex Organs, Kept Them As Trophies In Bloemfontein, South Africa
South Africa's Eyewitness reported on 19/10/2015:
A
house of horrors has been uncovered in Langenhovenpark, Bloemfontein, in which
a Danish weapons dealer allegedly sliced off women’s sexual organs and kept
them in a freezer. It
is believed the seven clitorises found in small bags in the freezer were kept
by the man as “trophies”.
The
58-year-old man, who manages a weapons shop in the city, allegedly also tried
to cut off the clitoris of his wife, who comes from Lesotho.
Police
spokesperson Constable Masilela Langa yesterday said the man was arrested on
Thursday after police were informed that he had photos of women whose
clitorises had been cut.
When
Falcons members arrived at his townhouse, they made the gruesome discovery in
his freezer.
The
man allegedly kept records on each clitoris, whom it belonged to and when it
was cut off.
It
is suspected that the women were still alive when they were mutilated, and that
the brutal deeds took place in the townhouse, which the man shares with his
wife and two children.
Langa
said the police seized a cellphone which contained various photos showing how
the man violated the women.
Equipment
including sedatives, scalpels and pliers was also found in the man’s house.
The
main task for the police now is to find the man’s victims.
“At
this stage we don’t know how many women there are, because there are many, many
photos,” said Langa. “We are busy with the investigation and are questioning
the man. It seems as if he knew the victims and knew where to find them.”
According
to sources, the man had already performed his first “operation” on a woman by
2010.
Police
are also investigating where the man got his medical equipment.
It
is still unclear how the man lured the women to his house and what became of
them.
The
man’s wife is badly traumatized and has been taken with her children to a place
of safety.
Volksblad
newspaper has uncovered that the wife first reported her husband’s horrifying
deeds to the Bainvlei police station earlier this year, but officers just sent
her back home.
The
man’s actions finally were exposed on Thursday when the wife complained to
municipal workers that her husband was threatening to shoot her and her
children dead.
The
workers contacted the police, who immediately went to the man’s townhouse.
The man will appear in
Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on Monday on charges of sexual assault
