Nigeria beat Angola 74-65
in the final of 2015 African Basketball Championship in Tunisia to claim their first-ever
continental championship. BBC reports that Sunday's victory against the defending
champion also gave Nigeria automatic ticket to the Rio 2016 Olympic.
Angola,
third-place Tunisia and fourth-place Senegal secured spots in next year's
Olympic qualifying tournaments.
