Police in Mozambique have
arrested a man who was allegedly trying to sell his albino son, state-owned
radio station reports. Radio Mozambique says the father staged a kidnapping of his
son and went to tell the police while he waited for potential buyers.
During
the investigations, the police officers found the boy who had been hidden.
Police
spokesman Jeremias Langa said the boy revealed that his own father took him to
the hiding place.
This
comes as the government is preparing to launch a commission to deal with
growing cases of kidnappings of albinos.
